I have always been fascinated with dentistry. As a child I played with my play-doh dentist set, watched the TV show Timmy the tooth, and my favorite book to read was Astrid the tooth fairy. In high school and college, I worked as an orthodontic assistant after school and during summers. During my time at Baylor University I obtained my bachelor of science degree. In between studying I was a yoga instructor and volunteered at the local nursing home where I helped bar tend for happy hour and lead group crafts with residents. And unfortunately, I was at Baylor before Chip and Jo’s TV show “Fixer-Upper”, however I love to go back and visit the silos now. I then obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Arizona. There I solidified my love for general dentistry. I enjoyed my time in Arizona but my heart missed Texas and I’m so glad I’m home.
The state of Texas is so large and each city is very different. I’m looking forward to experiencing Azle and the West Texas area. I’m excited to help patients achieve a healthy beautiful smile and one of my favorite things about dentistry is transforming patients that are apprehensive seeing the dentist into patients that look forward to their dental appointments.
Outside of dentistry I love doing Pilates, baking and shopping for makeup. I also love playing with my fiancé and our adopted orange tabby kitten and taking care of our two red ear slider turtles. In November my fiancé and I will be getting married!
